The School of Nursing (SON) is accredited nationally by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through 2018.  All standards and key elements for the 2011 Essentials of Master’s Education in Nursing are addressed and reviewed according to established guidelines by appropriate committees within the SON.

The School of Nursing (SON) is intentional about ongoing program assessment as key to program quality and improvement. Staff, faculty, and students are responsible for ongoing program assessment and participate readily. Students are engaged in decision making and their opinions and input are valued, considered, and often incorporated. The use of this data about student learning can be seen below.
