Curriculum Maps

A curriculum map is a graphic representation that shows how courses in the curriculum for a degree program contribute to meeting the learning outcomes of the program.  The American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) also states that a curriculum map is a pathway for learning.  It is a tool for faculty to use in developing their assessment plan.  The curricular map identifies the course where each learning outcome is introduced, developed and mastered.
