The Cross-Disciplinary Studies degree includes required upper-division coursework across nine departments, all of whom participate in the assessment of candidates based on shared learning outcomes for candidates entering the teaching field. The legend describes which courses are responsible for practicing, developing or expecting mastery of a learning outcome, and whether or not that outcome is formatively or summatively assessed with either an activity or a signature assignment.
