Points of Distinction

The Mathematical, Information and Computer Sciences Department is an active community of students and faculty who enjoy each other and enjoy everything related to computers and mathematics.

We are a department who are proud to call ourselves “geeks” who love to tackle hard problems and who love to eat.  In the department’s sofa lounge there is a special place were all treats go.  There is food there almost every day.  Down the hall from the lounge is the 7/24 student study room and the 7/24 computer lab.  At any hour of the day you can find people with whom to study.

In this section you will see information about our commitment to students finding their true vocation or calling. This is tested and refined in internships, service learning projects and research projects.  Look at our photo gallery and you will also see pictures of parties and our every-other year study abroad trip to England.
