Assessment Plan

The Mathematical, Information and Computer Sciences department has more than ten years of experience in systematic gathering of student learning outcomes data.  In this section you will find the department’s full assessment plan including measures and criteria for success as well as a schedule of what items are measured in which years.  This plan includes learning outcomes measurement in General Education and core competencies.

Visual connections between institutional, department and program learning outcomes, coursework and the particular assessments connected with each can be seen by looking at the curricular maps.

Details about the measures of learning and the rubrics used to evaluate learning can be found in the section Evidence of Student Learning.
