Curriculum Maps

A curriculum map is a graphic representation that shows how courses in the curriculum for a degree program contribute to meeting the learning outcomes of the program. The American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) also states that a curriculum map is a pathway for learning. It is a tool for faculty to use in developing their assessment plan. Below is a curricular map for our History and Political Science program identifying the course where each program learning outcome is introduced, developed and mastered.
